MAPA Journal of Social and Humanistic Sciences

The magazine "Mapa" was born in August 2017, it is a digital organ of an academic-scientific nature and free access. Its output cycle is quarterly. Its pages reflect the thought and scientific activity developed by teachers, researchers and intellectuals in the field of Social and Humanistic Sciences, Economics, Techniques and others with a multidisciplinary nature, both in Ecuador and in Latin America and the World. With the editorial support of the International Center for Higher Studies (C.I.E.S. S.A), research articles, interviews, thesis summaries, publication reviews and biographical sketches are published.

Its objective is to disseminate the results of the research of academics and scientists of the Social and Humanistic Sciences and of students of the careers of that field or area of ​​study and researchers and interested parties in a general sense. It makes it possible to create conditions for a reflective culture aimed at responding to social needs and problems from a global perspective.
